Ghalibaf: US forced to accept Iran's demands in talks

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf met with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, in Tehran on Friday. Berdimuhamedow was in Iran to attend the funeral ceremonies of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

During the meeting, Ghalibaf referred to the recent imposed war on Iran and stated that the resistance of the Iranian nation, the guidance of the Leader of the Revolution, and the performance of the armed forces caused the US to fail in the military battlefield. He added that this failure forced the US to return to the negotiating table and accept the demands of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States, with Iran maintaining its stance on key issues in nuclear and regional negotiations. According to Mehr News, Ghalibaf emphasized that the US had no choice but to comply with Iran's conditions after its military setbacks.
