Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Reports 27 Saudi Airstrikes in 24 Hours

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, issued a statement on Saturday addressing what he described as intensified attacks by Saudi forces against Yemen, according to the local Yemeni Al-Masirah TV website.

Saree stated that over the past 24 hours, Saudi forces carried out 27 airstrikes using F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets launched from the Khamis Mushait and Taif airbases. He said the airstrikes targeted civilian infrastructure, including bridges, roads, and other facilities, in the provinces of Taiz, Marib, Saada, Amran, Ibb, and Hajjah.

According to the report, Saree added that the total number of what he called aggressive Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks has reached 1,059 since the escalation of hostilities began. The statement did not provide further details on casualties or the extent of damage to the targeted infrastructure.
