Iranian MP warns of response to Israeli attack on Beirut

Ebrahim Rezaei, the spokesman for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, issued a strong warning on Sunday in response to the Israeli regime's aerial attack on southern Beirut. In a post on social media, Rezaei stated, "We will give a decisive and painful response to the Zionist regime's attack." He described the Zionist regime as a "rabid dog" that must be punished. Concluding his post, he said, "Watch the airspace over the occupied Palestinian lands (Israel) tonight." The remarks come after Israeli airstrikes targeted the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut, a stronghold of Hezbollah. The incident has heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, with Iranian officials vowing retaliation. According to Mehr News, the post reflects Iran's stance on supporting resistance against Israeli actions in the region.
