Iran Army Commander Says War Not Over, Warns Enemy to Expect Further Strikes

Major General Amir Hatami, speaking at the First National Festival of Sarbaz (Soldier) held at the Imam Ali (a.s.) Officers' Academy in Tehran on Saturday, stated that the war imposed by the United States and Israel against Iran is not over. He said Iran has achieved victory and that this victory must be safeguarded in the best possible manner. Hatami emphasized that the invading enemy has suffered heavy blows but must remain prepared to receive further severe strikes from the soldiers of Iran's powerful Armed Forces.

The festival was organized to commemorate the name and memory of former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces martyr Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, who, according to Hatami, was assassinated by the United States and Israel on February 28. Hatami underscored that the festival aims to honor the glorious name of martyr Brigadier General Mousavi, who took significant strides with his strategies to defend the country against external threats.

Earlier, in a message marking Sacred Defense Week, Major General Hatami said that Iran's powerful Armed Forces will not hesitate for a moment in defending the country's independence against enemies. The Sacred Defense Week commemorates the Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988).
