Three killed in US attacks on Iran's Hormozgan province

The United States launched airstrikes on civilian areas in Iran's southern Hormozgan province, killing three people, according to local officials. The attacks targeted western Bandar Abbas and Hajiabad County, with one strike hitting an environmental protection building in the village of Seyyed Jowzar, resulting in three fatalities. The victims were family members of an Iranian park ranger.

In neighboring Bushehr province, Governor Mohammad Mozaffari reported that US forces struck two locations in Bushehr County in three separate waves during the early hours of Tuesday. The attacks hit one area in the city of Bushehr and another near the city of Choghadak. Mozaffari described the strikes as part of Washington's continued hostile actions and repeated violations of the Islamabad memorandum of understanding. Preliminary field assessments indicated no casualties or injuries from the Bushehr strikes, and the security situation across the county remains fully under control.

The attacks mark another round of US violations of the Iran-US memorandum of understanding and continued military aggression against the country. According to the Hormozgan Governor General's Office, the strikes targeted civilian infrastructure. The report by Mehr News Agency added that the US actions are part of ongoing tensions between the two nations.
