SaveIRGC Advisor Says US and Israel Seek to Control Eastern Wealth
Brigadier General Ali Balali, an advisor to the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, said in an interview on Monday that the United States and Israel are seeking to prevent the emergence of a new Islamic civilization and to control the wealth of the East. He stated that civilization belongs to the East and the Muslim world, asserting that Western powers have no civilization of their own to be proud of.
Balali urged neighboring Muslim countries to recognize that Washington and its allies do not wish for the peoples of the East and the Muslim world to become more capable or prosperous. Instead, he said, they seek only to fill their own pockets. He further claimed that Western powers built their strength through mass killings of Indigenous peoples in the Americas and populations in Africa, citing European countries such as France and Belgium as examples of this historical record. He criticized these powers for committing crimes while claiming to advocate peace and justice.
The IRGC advisor added that Western powers are resisting the establishment of a global order based on Islamic civilization but will ultimately fail to prevent it. His comments came amid repeated threats by US President Donald Trump since the US-Israeli war against Iran began on February 28, according to Press TV. On April 1, Trump threatened to bombard Iran and said US forces would bring them back to the stone ages. He also threatened to destroy Iranian power plants and other infrastructure. Days later, on April 7, Trump issued an even broader warning, declaring that a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again, if Iran failed to meet his demands. The statement drew international attention amid fears of further escalation and threats against critical infrastructure.
According to Mehr News, Balali's remarks reflect ongoing tensions between Iran and Western powers, particularly the United States and Israel, over regional influence and the future of the Middle East. The IRGC Aerospace Force has been a central figure in Iran's defense strategy, and its officials frequently comment on geopolitical issues. The report by Mehr News added that these statements are part of a broader narrative promoted by Iranian officials who view Western actions as attempts to undermine Islamic civilization and exploit Eastern resources.
