US House passes resolution to end Iran war for third time

However, any final measure faces an almost certain presidential veto.

This marks the third House vote on similar measures in recent months, reflecting ongoing congressional debate over the scope and cost of US military involvement in the Iran conflict. The resolution's passage in the House does not guarantee an end to the war, as it would need to overcome a presidential veto to take effect.
