Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi strongly condemned recent US actions during a telephone conversation with EU Foreign Policy Chief and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas late on Thursday.
Araghchi described the US attacks as a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and international law. He stated that the American attacks have effectively undermined the ceasefire arrangement and warned that the US would be responsible for any dangerous consequences resulting from the escalation.
The Iranian top diplomat also criticized the silence of UN member states in response to the attacks, cautioning that international inaction would contribute to growing regional and global insecurity.
According to Mehr News, the conversation highlighted Iran's concerns over US aggression and its impact on regional stability. The report added that Araghchi emphasized the need for the international community to take a stand against such violations.
