Trade between Iran and UAE resumes after 12-day war disruption

An official from Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) announced that trade between Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has resumed after being suspended for 12 days due to regional tensions. The official, Ghanadzadeh, stated that Jebel Ali port, one of the most important transit hubs for bilateral trade, had halted cargo transportation and transit during the conflict. This disruption left a significant number of Iranian containers stranded at Jebel Ali, as traders were unable to clear their goods. With the easing of tensions and the return of relative calm, the clearance of Iranian cargo has resumed, and trade routes are gradually reopening. Ghanadzadeh expressed hope that bilateral trade will soon return to pre-war levels. According to Mehr News, the resumption marks a positive step in restoring economic ties between the two countries.
