Pezeshkian: Late Leader's thought will remain in nation's memory forever

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, addressing the nation on the eve of the farewell and funeral ceremonies for the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, stated that the glorious name and thought of Imam Mujahid (Imam Khamenei) will forever be etched in the nation's memory. He emphasized that during these ceremonies, the martyr-nurturing people of Iran will once again demonstrate their loyalty to the path and sublime ideals of the martyred Leader, with hearts full of sorrow and a will full of hope.

Pezeshkian stressed that the flag for which the Leader of the Islamic Revolution fought a lifetime to keep hoisted will never fall to the ground. He noted that it has been upheld through years of struggle, and with the will of the Iranian people, it will continue to be raised high by the iron will of the great nation of Islamic Iran.

The president described the current period as one of the most magnificent historical moments for Islamic Iran, where the noble people come together to mourn the wise Leader, describing him as an indefatigable, tireless mujahid and standard-bearer of the resistance. He asserted that the name, thought, and brilliant characteristics of the martyred Leader, who raised the flag of independence, religious democracy, and resistance during the most difficult periods of contemporary history, will remain in the historical memory of the Iranian nation and the awakened conscience of freedom-seeking people worldwide.

According to Mehr News, Pezeshkian made these remarks as the country prepares for the funeral ceremonies of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
