Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi criticized the United States for failing to uphold the interim agreement, warning that Washington's actions demonstrate a clear breach of established commitments. In a post on X, Araghchi stated, "Iran has so far kept its word, unlike the so-called US Treasury Secretary who is violating Para 9 of the MoU." He added that "the violation follows other violations and missteps by the United States." Araghchi concluded his post with a "reality check," warning Washington that "there can only be mutual compliance" moving forward. The remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the US over the implementation of the interim agreement, which was signed to address Iran's nuclear program. According to Mehr News Agency, Araghchi's comments highlight Iran's insistence on reciprocal adherence to the terms of the agreement.
