Iranian official says 26 percent of JANFADA volunteers ready for military-security roles

Sassan Zare', speaking at a news conference in Tehran on Wednesday, said that statistics gathered from the "JANFADA" campaign showed that 26 percent of the volunteers who enrolled their names were prepared to participate in military-security activities. He described the campaign as a major global initiative formed during the US-Israeli war of aggression waged against the Iranian nation.

Zare' said the primary question behind the effort was how to maximize the use of this capacity within Iranian society in order to address the country's challenges ahead. He underlined that the more a nation is prepared during war, the more threats will be warded off from the country. The comprehensive JANFADA platform was launched publicly on Tuesday, according to the spokesman of the headquarters, and many volunteers voiced their readiness to join the campaign.
