Iran's security chief warns US of new strategy

Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), has reiterated his warning to the United States, stating that Iran's new strategy will shatter American foundations. In a post on his X account on Wednesday, Rezaei wrote, "You will soon see that Iran’s new strategy on the battlefield, in diplomacy and in confronting the economic blockade will shatter your foundations."

Rezaei pointed to the "mess" created by the US-Israeli-imposed war and conspiracies against Iran, asserting that the enemies of the Islamic Republic would "not only fail to escape the hell" they had created for themselves, but they would experience their utter destruction.

The warning comes amid a new US military escalation in the Persian Gulf and deadly American strikes on civilian areas of Iran. In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have launched missile and drone barrages against enemy targets in the region.

According to Mehr News Agency, Rezaei's remarks underscore the heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, as both sides continue to exchange threats and military actions. The situation remains volatile, with international observers closely monitoring the developments.
