The commander of the IRGC Quds Force, Esmail Qaani, has stated that the Palestinian cause is more alive than ever, emphasizing that the Israeli regime's actions in the West Bank and Gaza cannot conceal its strategic and battlefield failures since October 7, 2023.
Speaking on the matter, Qaani said that the Zionist regime's push to expand settlements and intensify crimes in the occupied territories not only fails to hide its defeats but also demonstrates its passivity and comprehensive military, security, political, and social deadlock. He asserted that these actions are a sign of the regime's inability to achieve its objectives.
Qaani described Palestine as a "living, standing and unchanging cause" that, relying on divine promise and popular resistance, would continue until the full victory of truth over falsehood. He added that no conspiracy or crime can extinguish this burning fire, indicating the resilience and determination of the Palestinian people and the resistance movement.
The Quds Force commander also highlighted the vigilance of the Axis of Resistance, stating that it is monitoring the field with full attention and would deliver a "crushing response" to any enemy adventure at a proper time. This statement underscores the readiness of Iran-aligned forces to respond to any Israeli actions.
According to Mehr News Agency, Qaani's remarks come amid ongoing tensions in the region, with the Israeli regime continuing its operations in the West Bank and Gaza. The October 7, 2023, Al-Aqsa Storm Operation by Palestinian resistance groups marked a significant escalation, leading to a sustained Israeli military campaign. The situation remains volatile, with international calls for de-escalation and a ceasefire.
The report by Mehr News Agency added that Qaani's comments reflect the broader stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has consistently supported the Palestinian cause and the resistance against Israeli occupation. The Axis of Resistance, which includes groups like Hezbollah and Hamas, remains a key factor in the regional balance of power.
