The Iranian Army Navy Forces maintain complete control over the eastern Strait of Hormuz, northern Indian Ocean, and the Sea of Oman, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari emphasized in a recent statement. He asserted that Iran's Navy personnel are firmly present in the West Asian region and that no movement takes place in these strategic waters without their permission.
Speaking about the security situation, Rear Admiral Sayyari noted that security is stable at all of the country's land, sea, and air borders. He also highlighted the role of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in enhancing the authority of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the international stage. According to Sayyari, the current power of the Armed Forces is indebted to the sublime recommendations of the late leader.
The remarks underscore Iran's continued emphasis on its naval capabilities and sovereignty over key maritime chokepoints. According to Mehr News, the statement was made by Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, who serves as a senior commander in the Iranian Navy.
