Iranian General: No Enemy Can Confront Powerful Islamic Iran

Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces, declared on Sunday that since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, Iran has proven that no enemy is capable of confronting the country. He made the remarks during a ceremony commemorating the 3rd of Khordad, which marks the Liberation of Khorramshahr and Operation Beit ol-Moqaddas in the Iran-Iraq War.

General Jahanshahi described the Liberation of Khorramshahr as a manifestation of the perseverance and strength of Iran's Armed Forces and the heroic nation under the wise leadership of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini (RA), and the sublime recommendations of Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. He noted that their names and memories remain in the minds of freedom-seeking people worldwide.

Referring to US and Israeli aggression against Iran, the commander stated, "Today, the entire world is witnessing the humiliation of the United States and the Zionist regime on the international stage." He emphasized that Iran's powerful Armed Forces are fully prepared to give a remorseful response to any renewed aggression.

General Jahanshahi asserted that a powerful Iran, with the unity and solidarity of its heroic nation, will always be at the pinnacle of power. He attributed the failure of "Global Arrogance" to achieve its sinister goals in Iran to the national cohesion prevailing in the country.

The Liberation of Khorramshahr was carried out through a combined operation during the eight-year Iraqi imposed war against Iran. General Jahanshahi warned, "Today, if the enemy wants to make a mistake, the powerful army of the Islamic Republic and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, along with the unity and cohesion of the resistant Iranian nation, will give a regretful response to the enemy stronger than the past."

He concluded by emphasizing that the Army's Ground Forces are at the apex of readiness to safeguard all borders of the country from external threats with high defense capabilities. According to Mehr News, the general's statements underscore Iran's military preparedness and resolve against potential adversaries.
