Safavi: National unity key to overcoming wartime challenges

Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, a senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasized the critical importance of national unity and amity in overcoming the challenges posed by wartime conditions. Referring to the US and Israeli war of aggression waged against Iran on February 28, Safavi stated that the US and the Israeli regime entered the war with the aim of weakening the Islamic Republic, undermining national unity, and reshaping the regional balance of power. However, he asserted that they ultimately failed to achieve their objectives.

Safavi reiterated that forging national unity and amity, throwing weight behind the leadership, and strengthening domestic capabilities and potentials are among the most essential needs to overcome the wartime challenges and difficulties. His remarks underscore the ongoing tensions between Iran and its adversaries, highlighting the resilience of the Islamic Republic in the face of external aggression.

According to Mehr News Agency, Safavi's comments were made in the context of the broader conflict, emphasizing the need for internal cohesion to counter external threats. The report by Mehr News Agency added that the advisor's statements reflect the official stance of the Iranian leadership on the importance of unity during times of crisis.
