Iran says over 260 injured in latest US attacks

Hossein Kermanpour, the spokesperson for the Iranian Health Ministry, announced that more than 260 people were injured in the latest US attacks on Iran. In a post on X, he stated that 222 of the injured have received treatment and been discharged from hospitals. He added that three of the wounded were under the age of 18, and at least two people were killed in the attacks.

The US forces struck dozens of Iranian targets and reimposed a naval blockade on Iran’s ports as the conflict entered its fifth day. The attacks mark a significant escalation in tensions between the two countries.

According to Mehr News Agency (MNA), the spokesperson's remarks came amid ongoing hostilities. The report did not specify the exact locations of the attacks or the identities of the casualties. The Iranian government has condemned the US actions, calling them a violation of international law.
