Iranian Advisor Warns US Against Repeating Past Failures

Mohammad Mokhber, a senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, issued a stern warning to the United States on Monday evening, following the US Treasury Department's announcement of intensified economic sanctions against Iran. In a social media post, Mokhber stated that 47 years of US hostile policies, including sanctions, war, and plots to partition Iran, have not only failed to achieve their objectives but have also been met with national unity and the Islamic Republic's deterrence in the Strait of Hormuz.

Mokhber emphasized that this strategic defeat serves as a clear warning against continuing miscalculations. He asserted that Iran's response will be more decisive than ever. The remarks come amid heightened tensions between the two nations, with the US Treasury having recently announced new measures in what it describes as an economic war on Iran.

The advisor's comments reflect the Iranian leadership's stance that decades of US pressure have not weakened the country but have instead strengthened its resolve and unity. The reference to the Strait of Hormuz underscores Iran's strategic position and its ability to influence global oil shipping routes, a key factor in regional geopolitics.

According to Mehr News Agency, Mokhber's post was made in direct response to the US Treasury's latest actions. The report highlighted that the Iranian official's message was a clear signal to Washington that Iran remains undeterred and prepared to counter any further aggression. The ongoing standoff between Iran and the US continues to be a focal point of international attention, with both sides maintaining firm positions.
