Iranian official warns of missile launcher preparations

Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, stated on Sunday evening that missile launchers are being prepared, signaling a potential military response. In a post on his social media account, Velayati wrote: "A miscalculation in Beirut ended patience and the order was issued. The zero hour has arrived and the launchers are getting ready." He further warned that Hezbollah is part of the axis of resistance and that if the "fire of mischief" in Lebanon is not extinguished, the strategic straits of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab would be used to squeeze economic arteries, leading to strategic suffocation. The remarks come amid heightened tensions following recent Israeli aggression in Lebanon. According to Mehr News, the post reflects Iran's stance on supporting Hezbollah and the resistance axis.
