In a post on his Telegram channel, Sobyanin stated that nine more drones were downed, bringing the total to 132 since midnight, according to calculations by TASS based on the mayor's updates.
Three people were injured near the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD) as a result of falling drone debris. They are receiving all necessary medical assistance. Emergency specialists are working at the scene where the debris fell.
The drone attacks are part of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with Ukraine frequently launching drone strikes on Russian territory, including Moscow. The Russian Defense Ministry has not yet issued an official statement on the latest incident.
