Save57% of Americans Say War on Iran Was Wrong: Poll
A new public opinion survey conducted by YouGov and The Economist has revealed that a majority of Americans believe the decision to launch a war on Iran was wrong. According to the poll, 57 percent of respondents said the war was a mistake, while only 27 percent considered it the right decision. The remaining 16 percent were unsure or had no opinion.
The survey also indicated growing pessimism about the duration of the conflict. Some 46 percent of Americans believe the war will last another year or more. The proportion of respondents who think the war will end within a month, or is already over, has dropped to 8 percent from 20 percent in March, reflecting a significant shift in public perception.
The poll was conducted by YouGov, a British international research data and analytics group, in partnership with The Economist magazine. The results highlight a deepening discontent among the American public regarding the ongoing military engagement with Iran. According to the report by Mehr News Agency, the findings underscore the changing attitudes as the conflict continues without a clear resolution in sight.
