Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, to discuss key judicial priorities. According to Mehr News, the meeting focused on enhancing the social capital of the Islamic Establishment by spreading justice, safeguarding people's rights, and effectively combating corruption and its root causes. The officials also emphasized the need for swift, precise, and decisive handling of cases, along with the timely and deterrent enforcement of judicial rulings.

The discussions included achieving a comprehensive and tangible transformation within the judiciary, maximizing the use of modern technology—particularly for overseeing the proper implementation of laws, conducting continuous inspections, and supporting the management of various organizations and institutions. Addressing instances of "omission of duty" (failure to act) that lead to criminal offenses was also highlighted. The meeting stressed planning and striving for a decisive fight against crime while eliminating the conditions that bolster violations, in cooperation with other responsible bodies.

Furthermore, the officials called for the determined pursuit of restitution of rights and compensation for material and non-material damages resulting from crimes committed by American-Zionist perpetrators. At the beginning of the meeting, Mohseni Ejei presented a report on the plans for his new term at the top of the Judiciary. These include updating the "Judicial Transformation Document" and accelerating the digitalization of judicial processes—aimed at reducing case processing times and costs, ensuring the robustness and accuracy of judicial rulings, and enhancing the integrity of judicial personnel.

The meeting underscores the ongoing focus on judicial reform and anti-corruption efforts within Iran's legal system. The emphasis on technology and accountability reflects a broader push for efficiency and transparency in the judiciary. The report by Mehr News added that the Leader's engagement with the Judiciary Chief signals continued high-level attention to these priorities.
