Israeli military strikes Talloussah in southern Lebanon

The Israeli military launched air attacks on Talloussah in southern Lebanon on Wednesday morning, according to Al Jazeera. The strikes were part of what the broadcaster described as intense bombardment that also targeted the Nabatieh and Tyre districts in the south of the country.

The Israeli military began air attacks on Lebanon in March and simultaneously reinvaded southern Lebanon for the second time in less than two years. It currently occupies more than 50 villages in the area.

At the height of the campaign in April, more than 1.2 million people were displaced by Israeli attacks, according to the report. Hundreds of thousands of residents remain forced from their homes.

The report did not provide details on casualties or the extent of damage from the Talloussah strikes. The situation in southern Lebanon remains volatile as Israeli forces continue their presence in the region.
