Israel launches air and ground attacks on southern Lebanon

Israeli forces conducted air and artillery attacks across southern Lebanon over the past few hours, according to local sources cited by Mehr News. The artillery fire covered several areas, including Al-Mansouri, Eastern Zotar, Barashit, Kafrtbanit and Beit Yahoun.

Local sources in Lebanon also reported an explosion caused by Israeli forces in the Al-Taybeh area. Artillery attacks were reported targeting Dweih, near Kfar Remman, and Nabatieh Al-Fawqa.

In addition, Israeli troops advanced on the ground in the vicinity of Halta while simultaneously unleashing heavy machine-gun fire, the sources said.

The report did not provide details on casualties or damage. The attacks mark a continuation of military activity in southern Lebanon.

According to Mehr News, the strikes and ground movement took place in multiple locations across the southern region.
