The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy unveiled its new "Rajab 27th" highspeed watercraft during a public gathering in Tehran late on Saturday. The ceremony took place in the presence of IRGC commanders and officials. The boat is designed for high-speed assault operations and is equipped with advanced weaponry and navigation systems. According to Mehr News, the unveiling is part of the IRGC's ongoing efforts to enhance its naval capabilities. The Rajab 27th is named after the 27th day of the Islamic month of Rajab, which commemorates the Prophet Muhammad's (s) night journey and ascension. The IRGC Navy has been expanding its fleet of fast attack craft in recent years to bolster Iran's defensive capabilities in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
