IRGC Strikes US Patriot Radar and C-RAM in Bahrain

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its naval and aerospace forces conducted strikes on US military assets in Bahrain under the codename "Operation Nasr 2." The operation targeted a US Patriot radar system and a Counter-Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (C-RAM) system, both of which were destroyed, according to an IRGC statement.

The IRGC stated that missiles and drones were used in the attack. Fuel storage tanks at the Fifth Fleet base were set ablaze, and the command and monitoring center for unmanned guided boats was completely destroyed. The statement described the operation as a response to the "mischief of the child-killing American army" and added that retaliatory operations are continuing.

The attack marks a significant escalation in the region, as Bahrain hosts the US Navy's Fifth Fleet. The IRGC's claim could not be independently verified, and there was no immediate comment from US or Bahraini officials. According to Mehr News Agency, the operation was carried out by IRGC forces.
