SaveIran army spokesman says any renewed US attack will face a more extensive response
Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, the spokesman for the Iranian Army, stated that any further aggression by the United States will be met with an immediate and crushing response, one more extensive than before. He emphasized that should a new war break out, the geography of the conflict will not remain confined to the West Asia region. According to Mehr News, General Akraminia made these remarks in an interview, underscoring that Iran's armed forces are prepared to retaliate decisively.
In accordance with directives issued by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are updating their target database, encompassing various tangible and intangible assets of the American-Zionist enemy, General Akraminia underlined. He noted that should any new act of adventurism start, US military facilities, equipment, forces, and interests, wherever they may be within reach, could become targets for retaliation. This statement follows earlier warnings by the general that any renewed US aggression against the country will be met with an immediate, decisive response on a larger scale than before.
General Akraminia also addressed the enemy's attempts to establish a ground front along Iran's western borders by equipping counterrevolutionary and separatist groups based in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He stated that with the deployment of Armed Forces units and the implementation of preemptive operations against these separatist groups' positions, their malicious and sinister objectives were thwarted. The spokesman's comments highlight Iran's ongoing vigilance against external threats and its readiness to defend its borders.
The context of these statements includes previous US attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, which have heightened tensions in the region. General Akraminia's remarks serve as a warning that any further US aggression will not go unanswered and that Iran is prepared to expand the scope of its response if necessary. The Mehr News report added that the general's statements reflect Iran's determination to protect its sovereignty and interests against foreign threats.
