Iran says damaged oil and gas facilities on track for restoration

An Iranian official, Paknejad, said on Wednesday that oil and gas facilities damaged during the war are on track for restoration, with the remaining damaged capacity expected to become available during the first half of the following Iranian year.

According to Paknejad, reconstruction work at four gas refineries and at liquid fuel storage and loading facilities in Tehran that were hit and damaged during the war is progressing at a satisfactory pace. He said a very large number of workers are involved in the reconstruction effort, and that progress is sufficiently rapid to be monitored on a weekly basis.
