Iran's petroleum minister, Mohsen Paknejad, announced on Tuesday that the country's oil exports are continuing without interruption despite Washington's decision to revoke a 60-day sanctions waiver. He emphasized that the ministry has long-established mechanisms to neutralize the impact of US sanctions. Paknejad stated, "The Petroleum Ministry has for years established the necessary structures to neutralize the impact of the United States' unjust sanctions." He added that even after the 60-day waiver was granted, these mechanisms were preserved and not dismantled. The minister criticized the United States for violating its commitments, saying, "The Americans, as usual, broke their promise and violated Article 10 of the memorandum of understanding related to the 60-day waivers." According to Mehr News Agency, the remarks come amid ongoing tensions over US sanctions on Iran's oil exports.
