Iran Army Spokesman Urges Oppressed Nations to Uproot Oppression

Speaking on the occasion of the farewell and funeral procession of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in an interview with Mehr News Agency in Tehran, the spokesman for the Iran Army, Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, emphasized that the noble people of the country from all walks of life created a great and memorable epic in the history of the country. He expressed hope that this epic would lead to the enlightenment of society, similar to the great movement of Ashura (the ten days after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (a.s.)).

Akraminia further stressed that the epic created by the noble people of the country would lead to the enlightenment of the international community, and that oppressed and freedom-seeking nations of the world would rise up against oppression and arrogance, like the Iranian nation, and uproot the roots of oppression and arrogance. Emphasizing the importance of this epic, the army spokesman called on people to maintain their solidarity and unity in order to achieve these goals.

According to Mehr News Agency, the funeral procession drew large crowds of mourners from across Iran, reflecting the deep respect for the late leader. The spokesman's remarks underscore the Iranian military's support for anti-oppression movements globally.
