Iran's army receives new air defense systems, spokesman says

Brigadier General Ali Akraminia, spokesman for the Iranian Army, announced that the Army has used the recent ceasefire period to rebuild and strengthen its military capabilities, particularly in air defense. He stated that repaired systems have been restored and new equipment has recently been integrated into the Army’s operational structure, improving Iran’s air defense capabilities.

"We have tried to make good use of opportunities. The three-month ceasefire period was a good opportunity for our defense planning, particularly in the field of air defense," Akraminia added.

The general emphasized that Iran’s Armed Forces are prepared for all possible scenarios. He also noted that the United States has failed to achieve its objectives in the war of aggression against Iran.

According to Mehr News Agency (MNA), the announcement comes amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the US, with Iran bolstering its defensive capabilities. The report did not specify the exact types or quantities of the new systems received.
