Iran Army Ground Force Commander Warns of Decisive Response to Any Ground Threat

Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, a commander in Iran's Army Ground Force, stated that the force is fully prepared to counter any ground threat. He made the remarks during a visit to Army Ground Force units in southeastern Iran on Sunday, emphasizing that the Ground Force has prepared itself over recent years to confront various ground threats through continuous, precise, and specialized training.

General Jahanshahi warned that Iran would deliver a "decisive and deterrent response" to any hostile action, saying, "If the foot of an American military personnel enters Iran, we will cut it off." He added that the enemy has been brought to its knees in the face of the determination of Iran's Armed Forces and people.

The commander further stated that the readiness of the Armed Forces and the Iranian people's support for troops on various fronts have strengthened national cohesion and defeated the calculations of the enemies of the Islamic Republic. He said the Army Ground Force units remain at full combat readiness by continuously monitoring movements and closely tracking threats, adding that they are firmly safeguarding the borders of Iran.

General Jahanshahi also pointed to the effective presence of rapid-reaction, special forces, drone, artillery, and armored units in border areas, saying their deployment serves to protect the borders and help ensure lasting security.

According to Mehr News Agency, these remarks come amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, with Iranian officials frequently warning against any military aggression.
