Iranian president says negotiators follow Leader's guidelines in US deal

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Monday that the country's negotiating team will strictly adhere to the frameworks and policies determined by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. He made the remarks during a gathering of senior government officials and provincial governors in Tehran.

Pezeshkian expressed gratitude to the negotiating team, including Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, for their efforts in talks that led to a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the United States to end the war on Iran. He described the achievement as a result of exemplary unity, empathy, and coordination among the three branches of government and the armed forces.

The president noted that if the other party complies with its commitments, the MoU could help resolve many regional problems and create new conditions in the international arena. He also highlighted that the Zionist regime's concern and anger over the agreement is a clear sign of the Iranian nation's success and victory.

Emphasizing that all measures will be taken within the framework of national interests and the redlines drawn by the Islamic Establishment, Pezeshkian said, "By God's grace, this path will continue with authority." According to Mehr News, the president reiterated that the negotiating team dispatched to sign the deal will not deviate from the Leader's instructions.
