Iran's judiciary chief warns Trump against adventurism in Strait of Hormuz

Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i, the head of Iran's judiciary, has issued a strong warning to US President Donald Trump regarding the Strait of Hormuz. In a statement posted on social media, Mohseni-Eje'i declared that the Strait of Hormuz is "an inseparable part of Iran's territorial and border domain" and cautioned that any "adventurism" in the waterway would be met with a decisive response.

The remarks come in response to recent claims made by President Trump about the strait, which Mohseni-Eje'i dismissed as baseless. He asserted that Iran is the rightful owner of the strategic waterway under international law and the principles of national sovereignty.

In his social media post, Mohseni-Eje'i wrote: "Trump is a full-fledged loser in the hard arena of politics and military combat. What consoles his troubled mind is these virtual antics and nonsense. Trump and his advisers must know that the boot of arrogance will never touch the Strait of Hormuz. What multi-billion-dollar aircraft carriers could not achieve will not be achieved with a few tweets and speeches."

The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime route through which about a fifth of the world's oil passes. It has been a recurring point of tension between Iran and the United States, with both sides frequently exchanging threats. Iran has previously warned that it could close the strait in response to hostile actions, while the US has maintained a naval presence in the region to ensure freedom of navigation.

According to Mehr News Agency, the statement by Mohseni-Eje'i underscores Iran's firm stance on its territorial integrity and its readiness to defend it against any perceived threats.
