SaveIran and US Finalize MoU to End War on All Fronts Including Lebanon
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei announced on Monday that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been finalized between Iran and the United States to end the war on all fronts, including Lebanon. Speaking at his weekly press briefing held at the threshold of the mourning month of Muharram, Baghaei emphasized that the MoU includes an immediate and permanent halt to military operations on all fronts and the termination of the US naval blockade against Iran.
Baghaei noted that the US and Israel had attacked Iran's nuclear facilities over the past year, and the international community failed to emerge victorious from this test. He pointed out that Iran lost a large number of senior commanders and citizens during the war of aggression waged by the US and Israel. The spokesman accused the Israeli regime of attempting to sabotage the emerging understanding between Tehran and Washington but asserted that resistance turned Israeli "malice" into an opportunity to secure the interests of Iran and Lebanon.
"Future generations will see that the Islamic Republic of Iran and its allies did not allow the Zionist regime's vile acts to disrupt our focus on securing the supreme interests of Iran and Lebanon," Baghaei underlined. He added that this crime strengthened the cohesion and power of the resistance front against the Zionist regime.
Baghaei confirmed that the MoU aims to end "the imposed war by the US and the Zionist regime against Iran on all fronts, including Lebanon." He described the finalization as a very significant breakthrough achieved over the past 24 hours, resulting from the legendary resistance of the Iranian people against aggression and criminality. The spokesman expressed gratitude to the Iranian public, thanking all segments of the nation who have been the backbone of defenders on both military and diplomatic fronts over the past 110 days.
Baghaei also condemned attacks on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities, criticizing the international community, specifically the Board of Governors and the International Atomic Energy Agency, for failing to fulfill their duty regarding the illegal acts by the US and the Zionist regime. He reiterated that Iran will not forget the loss of senior commanders and citizens during the aggressive war. According to Mehr News, the report added that the item is being updated.
