Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Ukraine's Foreign Minister held a telephone conversation on Wednesday, discussing bilateral relations and regional developments.

During the call, the two sides exchanged views on the latest status of mutual ties and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields. The Ukrainian side briefed Araghchi on the situation in the region, particularly the ongoing conflict with Russia.

Araghchi emphasized Iran's principled position on the territorial integrity of countries and called for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining maritime security, especially in the Black Sea, and expressed concern over the safety of merchant ships.
