Iranian Official Says Military Success Must Be Reinforced Through Narrative

Hossein Taeb, a senior Iranian official, addressed a meeting of the policy council of "True Promise in the Mirror of Art," an international event focused on artistic representations of Iran's retaliatory operations against foreign aggression. The meeting took place on Tuesday, according to Mehr News Agency (MNA).

During his remarks, Taeb emphasized the importance of comprehensive narration when recounting significant military developments. He stated that an account of an important military event should include both the circumstances that preceded it and its consequences. "When narrating an important incident or event, one cannot focus solely on the event itself while ignoring what preceded and followed it," he said. "If True Promise is to be narrated as an important historical and military event, the circumstances that led to its formation, the conditions under which the operation took place, and its consequences must also be taken into consideration."

Over the past years, Iran has conducted multiple editions of retaliatory strikes against American and Israeli aggression under the codename Operation True Promise. These operations have been described by Iranian officials as concerted, decisive, and successful.
