Iran Says It Will Not Allow US-Israeli Regional Order to Return to West Asia

General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for Iran's Armed Forces, issued a message on Monday stating that Iran will not allow what he described as the enemy's regional order in West Asia to be restored. He said countries in the region must step out from what he called the ineffective security umbrella of the United States.

Shekarchi claimed that the United States has resorted to fuel smuggling as it sinks deeper into what he termed a self-made quagmire in West Asia. He questioned whether maritime banditry, theft, and fuel smuggling could avert what he called America's definitive defeat, answering in the negative. He also said that propaganda and claims by US officials regarding control over the Strait of Hormuz will not alter realities on the battlefield, adding that neither psychological operations nor media claims will save Washington from the consequences of its failed strategies.

The spokesman said that recent insults by US officials against Iran's civilization, history, and people reflect desperation and only strengthen the resolve of the Iranian nation. He stated that Iran has repeatedly demonstrated its strength and resolve to American and Zionist enemies and their allies, and that the Armed Forces, possessing readiness and capabilities far surpassing those of the past, will defend the nation's interests, security, and existence, and will defeat its enemy through a powerful offensive.

Shekarchi said countries in the region have experienced the ineffectiveness of the US's purported security umbrella on the battlefield. He added that now is the time for them to learn from this experience and avoid relying on what he called the rotten rope of Trump and Netanyahu. He reiterated that Iran will not allow the regional order envisioned by the US and the Zionist regime to be restored in West Asia.
