Speaking at a local ceremony in the west and northwest region of the country on Monday, Major General Amir Hatami, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, stressed that Iran is not a testing ground for plots and adventurism by the enemies of the country. He emphasized that the Iranian Armed Forces are fully prepared to counter any threat.
General Hatami highlighted four basic strategies that were ordered by the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, to the Army Force. These strategies include strengthening synergy between the Armed Forces, improving the combat power of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army, boosting excellence of wisdom and spirituality, and improving the livelihood of employees. He noted that these strategies are the main pillars of preparation to tackle future threats.
Stating that war is not just the use of warfare equipment and weapons, General Hatami said, "Today's war is a war of wills, thoughts and resilience of nations." He added that after failing to realize its malicious goals, the enemy has not stopped plotting and orchestrating new threats. Therefore, Iran continuously monitors the enemy's short-, mid-, and long-term goals and is ready to deal with any scenario with all might and power.
The powerful Armed Forces of the country, relying on their faith, experience, readiness, and the unwavering support of the noble nation of Islamic Iran, will respond decisively to any aggression and will defend the country's independence, territorial integrity, and security with utmost power, he underlined.
According to Mehr News Agency, General Hatami's remarks come amid ongoing tensions and threats from the United States and Israel. The report added that Iran's military leadership remains vigilant and prepared to defend the nation against any potential aggression.
