Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Romanian Foreign Minister Ioana Turcu held a phone conversation on Friday, during which they discussed mutual ties and regional developments.
Araghchi outlined the latest developments regarding the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and presented Iran's viewpoints on the matter to his Romanian counterpart.
For her part, Turcu welcomed the ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the West Asia region, emphasizing the importance of continuing this process and fulfilling mutual commitments by all relevant parties.
Both sides stressed the necessity of continuing consultations and developing bilateral cooperation and relations.
According to Mehr News Agency, the call covered key regional issues and reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to enhance diplomatic engagement.
