Iran's deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, stated on Wednesday that no meeting took place with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi during the Bürgenstock talks, despite Grossi's request. In a post on social media, Gharibabadi wrote, "No meeting with Grossi was held in Switzerland, despite his request." He further clarified that there are no plans to grant the IAEA access to nuclear facilities that were damaged during the war or to nuclear materials. "These matters will only be examined and decided within the framework of a final agreement and as a result of practical action by the other side to terminate all sanctions," he added. Gharibabadi also criticized what he described as media warfare by adversaries, warning, "You cannot push a 'launch and settle' policy through media hype." The remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the IAEA over inspections and Iran's nuclear program. The Bürgenstock talks, held in Switzerland, were part of diplomatic efforts to address outstanding issues. According to Mehr News Agency, Gharibabadi's statement underscores Iran's position that any resolution of nuclear disputes must be tied to a comprehensive agreement that lifts all sanctions.
