Iran's President Pezeshkian Meets Armenian PM Pashinyan at UN General Assembly

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York, according to a report by Mehr News Agency. The two leaders discussed the implementation of bilateral agreements, with a particular focus on regional transit routes.

President Pezeshkian stated that following up on bilateral agreements, especially those concerning regional transit routes, was a top priority of the Iranian government. He added that Iran was determined to implement the agreements and would make every effort to advance bilateral commitments.

Prime Minister Pashinyan also called for accelerating the implementation of the agreements, saying they would contribute to the development of regional countries and help promote peace. The meeting underscored the importance both sides place on fulfilling their commitments.
