Iran proved it is invincible power in worldwide: FM Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic proved itself to be an invincible power in the world, having won both war and diplomacy through resistance. He made the remarks at a ceremony in Tehran for signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education on cooperation and synergy between diplomacy and health to rebuild damages caused by the US and Israeli war.

Araghchi expressed condolences to the families of all martyrs, especially those who were martyred during the 12- and 40-day wars of aggression imposed by the US and Israel against Iran, from Minab to Lamerd, and the Dena Destroyer, who devoted their lives for the dignity and independence of the country. He praised the country's Armed Forces for defeating what he called the largest army in the world, emphasizing that this is not a slogan but a fact acknowledged by the whole world.

"No one thought that Iran would be able to resist against the United States in this way, with the support of the Zionist regime and many other countries, including all Western countries and some other countries that we all know, and not bow down, and ultimately forced the enemy to request negotiations," Araghchi stated. He noted that he had repeatedly heard officials from other countries say that Iranians had surprised the world, as no one had expected Iran to stand up to the US, the Israeli regime, and other countries and force the enemy to seek negotiations.

Araghchi also thanked medical staffers, especially at the Ministry of Health, for their excellent performance during the war. He highlighted national solidarity as a distinctive feature of the recent war, noting that millions of dollars in cash and in-kind assistance were voluntarily provided by Iranians abroad as well as Shiites and supporters of the Islamic Revolution. The Foreign Ministry collected and transferred the financial and material aid to Iran.

The foreign minister said the next step was to launch a new campaign abroad to channel assistance toward the reconstruction of a hospital in Andimeshk, which had been more than 80% destroyed during the US-Israeli war. He added that the Foreign Ministry had focused a significant part of its efforts on supporting the healthcare sector and was carrying out its mission in close coordination with the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. According to Mehr News, Araghchi emphasized that Iran's victory was not only in war and diplomacy but also in ethics and dignity.
