Iran Defense Ministry honors late Leader's role in defense progress

On the occasion of the 40th day after the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iran's Ministry of Defense issued a statement on Tuesday highlighting his significant role in advancing the country's defense capabilities.

The statement emphasized that the martyred Leader always paid special attention to strengthening the country's defense capabilities, promoting self-reliance, and advancing the defense industry during his years of leadership and guidance. It noted that the late Leader stressed the importance of trusting Iranian youth, scientists, and experts, and moving away from dependence in meeting the country's defense needs.

According to the statement, a significant part of the progress achieved in the country's defense industry was realized under the guidance and support of the late Leader. This path, which began with self-belief, resulted in the development of extensive scientific, technological, and industrial capabilities in the country.

The statement further underscored that the defense industry's achievements are a testament to the Leader's vision and the dedication of Iranian experts. It reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to continuing this legacy of self-reliance and progress.
