Iran nuclear industry owes success to martyred Leader's guidance: AEOI chief

In a television interview on the program "We Must Rise," Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), highlighted the massive public turnout at the funeral and farewell ceremonies of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. He emphasized that the success of Iran's nuclear industry is owed to the unwavering support and constructive recommendations and instructions of the martyred Leader.

Eslami elaborated on the history of interactions with the martyred Leader and his constructive guidelines in the field of new technologies and scientific advancements. He stated that the martyred Leader always stressed the importance of strengthening knowledge and science in the country, enabling Iran to conquer peaks of progress through the acquisition of knowledge and science. Despite all problems and difficulties created by enemies, Iran has managed to achieve significant accomplishments in this field.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Eslami noted that despite limitations and pressures, advanced and new radiopharmaceuticals produced domestically have passed clinical trials and entered the distribution stage. He pointed out that while some advanced countries are still in the clinical trial stage, Iran is among the few leading countries in this field, and the progress of this industry continues with strength.

The vice president added that without the nuclear fuel industry, enrichment, and fuel production capacity, it would not be possible to operate the Tehran Research Reactor and produce radiopharmaceuticals. Therefore, enrichment is an integral part of the radiopharmaceutical production chain, and opposition to enrichment is, in fact, opposition to these achievements and medical services.

According to Mehr News Agency, Eslami's comments underscore the close link between Iran's nuclear advancements and the guidance of the late Supreme Leader, as well as the country's determination to continue its nuclear program despite international pressures.
