SaveIran says it will not allow US warships to reenter Persian Gulf
Major General Ali Abdollahi, Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces, stated that the Iranian Armed Forces have rendered the US Navy ineffective, to the extent that it is no longer capable of approaching the waters surrounding the Persian Gulf or Iran's territorial waters. He emphasized that under no circumstances and at no time will Iran allow US military vessels to enter the Persian Gulf. According to Mehr News, Abdollahi made these remarks in a speech addressing regional tensions.
Abdollahi criticized repeated claims by former US President Donald Trump that Iran's nuclear facilities have been destroyed, while simultaneously stating that Iran must not possess nuclear weapons. He described this as a blatant contradiction, asking, "If you have destroyed everything, then what is the meaning of repeating this delusion?" He said such meaningless, contradictory and repetitive statements are intended to deceive world public opinion, particularly the American people. He further challenged, "If you are certain that you have destroyed all of Iran's military capabilities and assets, then why do your rusting warships, vessels and cowardly military forces dare not approach the Strait of Hormuz or Iran's maritime and land borders?"
He asserted that through the firm resolve of Iran's Leader, the determination of the Iranian people, the self-sacrificing Armed Forces and officials of the Islamic Republic, it has been decided that the United States, its illegitimate offspring — the Zionist regime — and their feeble and aggressor armies will be sunk deeper and deeper into the quagmire they have created with their own hands. Abdollahi concluded that with divine support, Iran's strategy of strength ensures that the longer this confrontation continues, the deeper the US will be pushed into the quagmire of death and decline.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, with Washington maintaining a military presence in the region. Iran has consistently rejected US accusations regarding its nuclear program and has vowed to defend its territorial integrity. The report by Mehr News added that Abdollahi's statements reflect Iran's firm stance against US military presence in the Persian Gulf.
