"We treat the threat as a basis for increasing readiness, strengthening deterrence and enhancing our power," he noted. The remarks come amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, with recent exchanges of threats and counter-threats.
The acting defense minister's comments reflect Iran's stance of vigilance and preparedness, indicating that the country will not be complacent despite the psychological nature of the enemy's rhetoric.
