Iran Army commander warns US that nation will respond firmly to threats

An Iranian Army commander, responding to US threats of renewed pressure against Iran, said the Iranian nation will respond firmly to the enemy's excessive demands and that there is no cause for concern in this regard, according to Mehr News. The remarks follow earlier comments by Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, Deputy Coordinator of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, who warned the United States against any military miscalculation against Iran. General Naqdi said Tehran would respond to Washington's "mother of all bombs" with the "father of bombs."
