Iran stronger than ever against threats: Interior Minister Momeni

Iran's Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni stated that the Islamic Republic is stronger than ever in the face of threats, in a message commemorating June 13, designated as 'Martyrs of Authority and National Unity Day'. The minister paid tribute to the memory of the noble martyrs, emphasizing that Islamic Iran, backed by wise leadership, the nation's vigilance, and the sacrifice of the martyrs, stands stronger than ever today.

Momeni described June 13 as a reminder of the epic efforts of the brave sons of the land in defending territorial integrity and strengthening national security. He noted that this date recalls the aggression of the evil US and the cruel Zionist enemy, which were humiliated in the face of faith, steadfastness, and the pure blood of the martyrs.

'History tells us that the two elements of defense and security authority and national unity and cohesion are the wings of society's ascendence towards stability and national authority,' Momeni said. The minister's remarks underscore the Iranian government's narrative of resilience and unity in the face of external pressures.

According to Mehr News, the message was issued on the occasion of the annual commemoration, which honors those who died in the line of duty defending Iran's sovereignty and security.
